ARGO GOLD MILL & TUNNEL ⛏️

This family-friendly historic tour is the top attraction in Idaho Springs! You drive by it every time you head into the mountains on I-70, but have you stopped in for a tour?

Learning about milling and how the Argo fit in to the gold rush was so interesting, and this mill has been so well preserved you can really feel what it was like to be there!

You get to put in a hard hat and step into the tunnel too, which we found exciting 😆

At the end of the tour (which is about an hour), you’ll get to pan for real gold! The kids get to pan for gemstones if they wish 💎

👶 This tour is not stroller friendly, so be prepared!

📅 The tour runs 7 days a week, from 10a-6p (ends at 5p during the winter)
