I’ve got your next patio ready for the spring and summer months! ☀️

Just up the road in Highlands Ranch, Prost gives you a year-round Oktoberfest with German style beers, snacks, meals and vibe.

Many people ask me what is a good alternative to The Backyard while they are closed. I think I found it! They have a large turf area with cornhole and a stage, but it was KID CITY when we were there. And not in an obnoxious way 😂 It was great to have a spot for kids to be free while parents could sit nearby and watch them play safely. This is a GREAT patio to meet up with friends.

🍺 For the beer lovers: helles, Vienna lager, kolsch, Hefeweizen, dunkelweizen, radler, bock, and lager are just some of the German styles they have on draft 🍻 I love German styles so this place was heaven!

But for my non-beer friends, they offer many cocktails, wine and house-made seltzers. 🍷

FOOD. My German heart be still 😍

🥨 You can start off with a giant German pretzel, spaetzle, or some Americanized favorites like wings or fries.

🌭 Knackwurst, bratwurst, or currywurst are the German style sausages available, or you can get a local fav, jalapeño cheddar buffalo sausage.

🍔 For sandwiches you can pick a German favorite like a schnitzel sandwich or doner kebab, or even a Biergarten burger (pictured, and it was great!). Or for those who just want good bar grub, there’s other favorites like a Reuben or grilled chicken.

🧀 And they’ve thought of the kids too! 👧 they can get Mac and cheese, hot dogs, sliders, or tendies.

This place gets busy, but you share the long tables (inside and out) with strangers who become friends. We ended up sitting next to some Castle Rock folks last night! 😄
