Great Sand Dunes NP

We made a sidestop to GREAT SAND DUNES NATIONAL PARK on our recent road trip (great use of that America the Beautiful pass!) and it was the perfect way to stretch out, run around, and get a little sandy 😜

These dunes are enormous, but of course my kids cared most about the stream running through the park.

This stream doesn’t usually hang around this long, but the rainy Colorado summer has dealt tons of families some cool reprieve from the hot sand!
