KOA HOUSE is a relaxing Hawaiian retreat tucked away in the Denver suburbs 🌺

I booked a lomi lomi massage here the day after a Red Rocks concert, when my muscles needed a little attention! I was greeted by the most calming, wonderful woman named Barbara, the owner of KOA HOUSE. She explained her vision for the space, like the calming experience of walking into a Hawaiian forest, plus her commitment to the rhythmic flow of lomi massage and using plant-based products throughout treatments.

What made this massage different is how relaxing it was, without simply putting me to sleep. The opening and closing chants, the flow of the kneading, and the attention to pain spots…simply put, she wasn’t just beating the crap out of my muscles! I felt soothed and refreshed after this massage! 💆‍♀️ Truly one of the best I’ve had in Colorado!

She also offers Kua Kua (back walking massages), which I’m dying to try! You can get a custom duo massage where you get half lomi, half back walking, if you simply want to try both!
