DAIRY FARM TOUR ๐ฅ๐ฎ
We made the journey to Morning Fresh Dairy Farm recently and I think Iโve cultivated a lifelong love for cows in this family ๐
Our tour started out with a dairy tasting...specifically, some yogurt and milk! We were able to try lemon, blueberry, and strawberry rhubarb yogurt...lemon was the winner in our family ๐ We also tried Milkaccino, Root Beer Float, and chocolate milk in tiny little cups...chocolate was the favorite from my kids, but I was partial to the Milkaccino โ๏ธ
We received a history lesson inside an old school house on the farm grounds...Morning Fresh has been operating since 1894, so there was a great deal to learn about the family that has successfully kept a farm operating for that long!
Next week weโre able to see the โcow merry-go-roundโ...where the cows were milked! My kids had their faces PRESSED against this glass for a straight 15 minutes picking out their favorite cows ๐
Last we were able to see baby cows up close! Petting the cows was the highlight of the day for my oldest...not so much for the tiny one, sheโs afraid of anything with fur ๐๐
After the tour you can enjoy lunch and treats in the cafe, or take home tons of dairy options! We enjoyed ice cream and (more) yogurt on the beautiful farm grounds, where we found plenty of picnics tables in shady spots. They do have sandwiches and burritos to enjoy, but why have real food when you enjoy ice cream for lunch? ๐ฅด
This adorable tour can be booked ahead of time for only $5/person (2 and under are free!).
Fun fact: Morning Fresh provides most of the milk needed for Noosa Yogurt, which is basically the best yogurt Iโve ever had ๐ so you can find every flavor there! My kids have been asking for it from the grocery store ever since this tour.
