MT. PRINCETON HOT SPRINGS RESORT π¦
A dip in a mountain hot spring on a cold winter day is a true rush to the senses! Itβs one of my favorite winter excursions, and Mt. Princeton serves this up with scenery and space.
The hot springs here have two large public pools (plus one adult pool) and an expansive riverbed with individual springs along the water. The water along the river is fairly warm, think hot tub but possibly a bit hotter depending on where you sit!
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ This is family friendly! Bring floaties because the ones onsite cost a bit more, for convenience. And bring water shoes as well!
π₯€ While the spa and lodge have food, the hot springs lobby only has a few bottled drinks. Come prepared.
π¨ You can stay onsite at the resort! Or buy a day pass and stay nearby in Nathrop, Buena Vista or Salida.
ποΈ Ticket prices vary depending on time of year! Thereβs more to do in the summer, including a seasonal pool with a water slide.
Have you been to the hot springs? π§ββοΈ
