OPA GRILL 🇬🇷 has been added to my family’s dining out lineup!
As soon as I heard about a sit-down Greek restaurant in Parker, I made immediate plans to head her and order all my favorites.
This family-owned gem in Parker offers old world Mediterranean recipes that taste like home cooked Greek meals. With my favorites like moussaka, chicken lemon soup (Avgolemono), gyros, housemade hummus, and of course, 🔥 flaming saganaki, we settled in for a cozy, filling dinner.
🥣 The chicken lemon rice soup was truly to die for. The owner told us they sell tons of this soup year round! I can already see myself heading here for a warm bowl to cure a cold.
🍅 Moussaka is one of my favorite stick-to-your-ribs dishes out there, and Opa Grill’s version didn’t disappoint. I loved the plentiful seasonings and generous portion.
🫓 The hummus was a treat, it’s not often I get to enjoy it freshly made and this is as good as it gets. You get a giant bowl of it, and we crushed it.
🔥 I’ll never say no to flaming saganaki. Period. I love this melty cheese so much, and consider me a sucker for a good show!
Why do I love this so much? It takes me back to my early working days in Chicago, when my coworkers and I would sit down at a white tablecloth meal at a Greek restaurant and share saganaki and try new dishes we couldn’t always pronounce. Coming from a small town with little variety of food, Greek food was one of the first European foods I embraced when I moved to the big city. I love having this same experience here in Parker and bringing my kids! 🧡
