ÜBERGRIPPEN INDOOR CLIMBING 🧗‍♀️

Indoor climbing has arrived in Castle Rock! If you’re like me and you eagerly watched this place being built in the Meadows, I’m here to tell you that it’s READY and it’s AMAZING 🤩

We did a day pass for the family, which just entailed filling out a couple forms (which you can do online or at the location), getting acquainted with rental gear, and going through a tour. From walking in to climbing on our own, I’d say it was about 20 minutes!

And WE WERE OFF! My oldest volunteered right away to be the first in our group to climb, and I was a proud mama 😍 she was a little spider monkey from the get go!

My kids flew up the wall. They didn’t make it to the top this time, but they got better with every attempt and went further up each time. They’ve set goals, which I love 🏆

But is it fun for mom and dad too? YES! It was a FUN exercise that felt more like thrill-seeking than a workout. Making it to the top of the crag takes your breath away for a moment but those burning muscles make it worth it 💪

It’s also a perfect date night activity 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 With several restaurants nearby, you could spend an evening learning to belay, getting in some climbs, taking a yoga class, and winding down with some grub and brews at @icbrewhouse just across the street.

And if you’re looking to learn how to become a pro, they have lessons starting at ages 6 and up, including adult lessons!

Want to just give it a try? Day passes and gear rentals are available, giving you access to the entire facility (climbing, fitness gym, yoga studio) from 6am-10pm during the week and 8a-8p on the weekends.
