You need a mountain weekend away? You need the YMCA of the Rockies ⛰️ 🍁

I can’t believe how much we packed into a weekend here! @ymcarockies is more than a place to stay…it’s an resort filled with several calendars of activities for all ages, all abilities.

In one weekend, we enjoyed:

🥾 guided hikes

🏹 an archery class

🧗 rock climbing

✂️ crafting

😁 roller skating

🤠 a history museum scavenger hunt

⛳️ mini golf

…all in beautiful mountain scenery and fresh air ☀️

There were several activities we never even got to! Like axe throwing, swimming, RMNP excursions, library activities, horseback riding, fishing…the list is pretty endless!

We stayed in a private cabin, which had stunning views at sunrise and sunset. We loved eating meals here (with a full kitchen!), having night time hot chocolate, and of course waking up with coffee on the deck.

And if vacation time is not your favorite time to cook, they have a cafeteria and cafe. The cafeteria has a buffet, which we enjoyed for breakfast (nothing like biscuits and gravy ready to go daily 😄).

Plus, you’re 5 minutes away from the action of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We escaped for a bit, but honestly? We hurried back because there was far too much fun to be had and I was getting FOMO 😆

YMCA of the Rockies, you’re a true gem. We can’t wait to go back! 🧡
