It's summer concert season!
Every time I turn around, I see another Summer Concert Series popping up on my radar! I don't know about you, but enjoying live music in the evening, with food trucks and a beer tent, or with kids running around dancing, or with friends who sing words along with you...it's quintessential summertime for me!
I've rounded up some local live music and concert fun around Douglas County and South Denver!
CASTLE ROCK 2025 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES • Castle Rock, CO
Castle Rock continues to book incredible live acts, from Grammy-winning artists to cover bands that will get you on your feet. Past acts have included Sublime with Rome, Philip Philips, Sugar Ray, Spin Doctors, Beach Boys, Gavin DeGraw and more! Here's some of the remaining musicians visiting Castle Rock this summer:

LARKSPUR MUSIC IN THE PARK SERIES • Larkspur, CO
The Larkspur Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Larkspur put together a series of free Friday night concerts in the park, covering a new genre of music every two weeks! Bring lawn chairs and blankets and get comfy at Larkspur Community Park. More info here!
DISCOVERY PARK CONCERT SERIES • Parker, CO
Thursday nights in July are for jamming out in at the expansive amphitheater near Downtown Parker! Discovery Park hosts live acts every Thursday, 6:30-8p in the month of July. 3 more FREE concerts left, get those picnic blankets ready! More info here!
CASTLE PINES SUMMER CONCERT SERIES • Castle Pines, CO
Castle Pines goes big one Sunday a month in the summertime, and two big concerts left means two big chances to party at one of our favorite parks! The next band on July 20 is a 90s and 2000s cover band, your Millennial and Gen X hearts won't want to miss it! More info here!
FRIDAY NIGHT MARKETS • Elizabeth, CO
Part concert, part market, part festival...Running Creek Park is the place to be every Friday night, 5-9p in Elizabeth! The town comes out to enjoy activities, vendors, brews from Elizabeth Brewing Company, and live local acts, all in a gorgeous park in Downtown Elizabeth! More info here!
TUNES FOR TRAILS, PERKS FOR PARKS • Castle Rock, CO
Listen to live music for a cause! This concert series on the third Thursday night of summer months benefits Castle Rock Parks & Trails Foundation. YES, the concert is free to attend, but donations and proceeds from beverage sales benefit the foundation's work on future outdoor projects. Plus they always have amazing giveaways at these concerts! Set against the backdrop of Philip S. Miller Park Amphitheater, you can't go wrong. More info here!
JAZZ IN THE PARK • Castle Rock, CO
These concerts are as easy breezy as it gets. No food trucks, no tickets, no vendors...just a simple set up of jazz musicians in Festival Park, jamming out in a subdued setting every Wednesday night, 6:30-8p, through August! Grab a picnic meal from a downtown restaurant or pack a refined cheese board, then kick back in Festival Park for some lively jazz! More info here!
FIRST FRIDAYS CONCERT & 5K • Castle Rock, CO
Every 1st Friday of the summer months, Downtown Castle Rock brings out the party for a family celebration that includes a free 5K fun run, local merchants, food and drink vendors, and live music! There is only one remaining concert for the season, and you won't want to miss Disco Revue, a live act covering groovy hits from ABBA, Donna Summer, ELO, Diana Ross, Blondie, the BeeGees and more! It'll go down on Friday, August 1 in Festival Park, starting at 5:30pm with a fun run and live music at 6:00pm. More info here!
