2025 Halloween Lights in Castle Rock

Driving around to see Halloween decorations has been a favored tradition of mine since I was a small kid, and I love passing that tradition down to my own children. Sharing this with other Castle Rock families brings me joy, but until now, I've simply passed along the best and brightest houses through social media stories and word of mouth communications.

It seems as though, you love these lights too! It's so much fun to load up the car and spending the evening viewing our neighbors' displays.

After several requests for a map, I now bring you the VERY first Castle Rock Families Halloween Lights Map!

WHAT WILL I FIND?

Each house was selected for this map because it brings something a little different! At each house, you might find:

• synchronized lights or shows

• graveyard or haunted settings

• many kinds of characters, both spooky or endearing

• vibrant uplighting and fog

• impressive inflatables

• thousands of lights, meticulously strung in dazzling patterns

• an opportunity to hop out of your car and walk around the setup (only if there's signs that say so!)

• a simple but magnificent display

ARE THESE HOUSES TOO SCARY FOR MY KIDS?

What a tough question to answer, since all kids are different! Through the years, my kids' tolerance and affinity for spooky displays has most certainly evolved...and even day to day it continues to change. What I believe they may find scary, they find silly. And what I believe they may find silly, they are less enthusiastic about! They love to keep me on my feet.

If I've ever approached a house that looks like it might be too scary or gory for my children, I simply outline (at a high level) what they might see and give them the choice to stay in the car with the other parent, or get out with me to walk around the display for upclose viewing. We've personally never had issues with being "too" scared, or dealt with post-viewing nightmares...but each child is different and you know yours best, so proceed with a bit of caution!

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

Each house is privately owned, so they set their own hours based on their schedule! However, it is is safe to assume: most displays turn on around 6:00pm and are off around 9-10pm. These hours may be extended through weekends, and you can count on displays being available for viewing through Halloween.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

• Please do not block driveways while driving and viewing displays.

• Each house is a private property. Please do not trespass, touch or rearrange any displays. Trespassing may result in a visit from local law enforcement!

• Because lights are on in the evening, please observe quiet hours.

• Please drive responsibly.

• This map is for entertainment purposes only. Castle Rock Families, LLC is only responsible for sharing this information and has no business connection to these homes or homeowners.

Waiver of Liability for Castle Rock Families’ Christmas Light Map

Acknowledgment and Agreement: By using the Castle Rock Families Christmas Light Map, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

   • I understand that participation in viewing the Halloween light displays listed on the map is entirely voluntary and done at my own risk.

2. Assumption of Risk

   • I acknowledge the potential risks involved, including but not limited to traffic incidents, personal injury, property damage, and unforeseen circumstances during visits to the listed locations.

3. Release of Liability

   • I release Castle Rock Families and its representatives from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from the use of the map or visits to the listed locations.

   • I acknowledge that Castle Rock Families is not responsible for the condition, maintenance, or safety of any properties or displays listed on the map.

4. No Affiliation with Private Properties

   • I understand that Castle Rock Families is not affiliated with, does not manage, and has not inspected the private properties or light displays listed on the map.

   • I release Castle Rock Families from any claims, disputes, or damages arising from interactions with the owners or residents of these private properties.

5. No Endorsement or Guarantee

   • I understand that Castle Rock Families does not guarantee the quality, safety, or continued availability of the light displays or properties listed.

6. Indemnification

   • I agree to indemnify and hold Castle Rock Families harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from my actions or use of the map.
